All AVID Elective students are selected through an application process. Once the process is complete all students will receive a decision letter.
All Elementary applications are due to RBSMS by March 30th. Any applications received after will be reviewed and eligible applicants will be accepted on a first received basis.
Current 6th and 7th RBSMS students should follow the following steps.
- Fill out the application completely and neatly in pen. Typing the responses is also acceptable.
- Ask all teachers to fill out the grade recommendation form.
- Ask one teacher to complete the Advanced Recommendation Form. This must be from a language arts, social studies, math or science teacher. Please note your teacher will return this form.
- Turn in completed application and grade recommendation form to 1st period teacher.
Applications for 6th and 7th RBSMS student are available in the office and outside Ms. Hawk’s door (Building 7 Room 016).
